Oh, Happy Day!!!!!!! We finally got official notice that we can start practicing. Registration forms are being updated and we will send them out to all our contacts from last season as soon as they are ready. If you are new to the program, just go by the Lee Extension Office and get them or contact me and I will email them to you. All participants must complete 8 hrs of safety training prior to being able to compete in the District Competition. In the past we have done the first 2 hrs as an all-discipline training & range briefing. This year we will do all the safety training on the range for your discipline. Check the schedule page for practice times & locations; we start in March. At this time we only have an official startup. As soon as we hear anything about actual competition’s we will post them.
Social Distancing and health safety practices are to be observed during practice. We are mostly outdoors so that shouldn’t be a problem. Let’s all come together and enjoy our sport again!
As always, there is a need for more 4-H Certified Instructors. If you would be willing to help by getting trained; please go to the Extension Office and register as a volunteer. That process takes time due to the background check; and must be completed 30 days prior to any training taken. So, if you are interested, don’t hesitate as there is possibility of a training in April. Details will be posted as we get them.
Contact myself or Laura Reed with any questions or needs. Looking forward to seeing you at the range!
